Year 7 to high school

To stay informed about the move of year 7 to high school, visit  https://www.education.sa.gov.au/sites-and-facilities/year-7-high-school  regularly for updates. Your school will also be sharing information about what this move will mean for your child, so keep an eye out for 7 to high school updates in your school’s newsletter, website or on your school’s Facebook page. You can also contact the Year 7 to high school project team directly by emailing Year7toHS@sa.gov.au

 

New Working with children checks

From1July anyone working or volunteering with children will need a WWCC.

If you have a current DCSI child related screening clearance it will be recognised as a WWCC under the new laws until it expires.  If you need a WWCC for the first time or your clearance has expired, you will need to apply to the Dept of Human Services Screening Unit.

There will be NO charge for a WWCC for any volunteer.
